Mission Statement

Freedom FOIA

Our mission is to create awareness on key factors and information to protect members of the public of harmful acts from governments, corporations and other entities. We search public records from known documented cases that have been found to cause harm to the public or individuals who were misguided, lied to, manipulated or hurt because of mandates, states of emergencies and more.

Empowering Public Access Through FOIA Education

Educating and informing the public about their rights under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). We are committed to fostering a well-informed citizenry by providing comprehensive resources, training, and support to help individuals and organizations effectively utilize FOIA. By promoting transparency, accountability, and public participation, we aim to empower all members of society to access vital government information, thereby enhancing democratic governance and civil engagement.

Objectives

  1. Awareness: Raise public awareness about FOIA and its importance in ensuring government transparency and accountability.
  2. Education: Provide clear and accessible educational materials, workshops, and seminars on how to file FOIA requests and understand the process.
  3. Support: Offer guidance and assistance to individuals and organizations in submitting FOIA requests, including navigating exemptions and appeals.
  4. Advocacy: Advocate for robust FOIA policies and practices that facilitate open government and protect the public’s right to know.
  5. Collaboration: Partner with educational institutions, media organizations, and civic groups to broaden the reach and impact of our educational efforts.

By achieving these objectives, we aim to build a culture of openness and informed participation, where every person has the knowledge and tools to access and utilize government information effectively.
